Crown Regency Hotel owner murdered in Davao City

DAVAO CITY
-- The owner of Crown Regency Hotel died after he was shot at close range by a lone gunman inside his building in Obrero, Davao City around 7 p.m. Thursday, police said.

Richard King, 56, was died in Davao City. According to the police reports, He was dining with his employees inside the Vital-C Building when the gunman entered and shot the victim on the head.The suspect immediately fled the scene on a black motorcycle that was waiting outside the building. Police are still investigating the incident.

King is a hotels and resorts magnet, He owns a chain of hotels and resorts located in key cities in the Philippines.
