One of Davao City's oldest destinations, Gap Farming Resort, is planning to add more attractions in the next five years.

Resort manager Lenny V. Castillo told reporters during the Oktoberfest on Saturday that they have been receiving comments from tourists who are demanding them to put in place some adventurous attractions within its sprawling 10-hectare area.

"One of the things we are looking into is adding a zipline to our attractions. Currently, we are in the phase of studying on having a zipline in the resort and (we) are looking for consultants regarding the attraction," said Castillo.

She however, did not disclose how much they will investment for the zipline.

They are also looking at holding night extensions for parties and events. The Oktoberfest last Saturday was part of the feasibility to see the marketability.

Also part of the plans is to put up a jeep line to conveniently take the visitors to the resort from the downtown area.

"We are slowly renovating the resort and we will definitely take into consideration what are the wants and needs of our visitors," she said.

The development of the 10-hectare resort started in 1972, which was opened for business in 1983. Currently, it has three swimming pools and six function halls to accommodate events.
