→ Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist and TV5 host Ramon Tulfo and actor Raymart Santiago exchanged blows at the NAIA 3 Sunday.
Tulfo said he was simply trying to pacify Claudine Barretto, Santiago's wife, who was allegedly verbally abusing a ground crew when Santiago turned on him. In an interview with radio station DZMM, Tulfo said he had arrived from Davao onboard a Cebu Pacific flight when he chanced upon Barretto scolding ground crew of Cebu Pacific.
Tulfo said he was taking pictures of Barretto while also trying to pacify her when Santiago came up to him and allegedly tried to get his cellphone. He refused, and he said that's when all the trouble started.
Tulfo suffered bruises on his face, and told media that other unidentified men got involved in his altercation with Santiago.
None of the parties involved in the altercation was immediately arrested, even as airport authorities said they were investigating the matter.
