The guard check it. While checking and looking at me. She said your from Davao sir?, Yes miss and I'm proud in saying it! She told me you cannot enter the mall and I ask her and why? GMA Davao Reporter critcized Doris Begornia's unethical behavior

Doris Bigornia of ABS-CBN Manila and John Paul Seniel of GMA Davao
Senior correspondent of GMA Channel 5 Davao, John Paul Seniel criticized the rude behavior of Doris Bigornia of ABS-CBN Manila during the live interview of Mr Bong Go here in Davao City.

Here is Mr. John Paul Seniel post on his Facebook account:

Miss Doris Bigornia, please act with decency when you are with your fellow members of the media.
Maybe you did not know that we had a live report for our GMA 24 Oras Southern Mindanao Newscast, I can forgive you on that, but you acted like you did not see anyone interviewing Mr. Bong Go.

Our DMNG Engineer Al Lim Ramz politely told you to excuse yourself from our camera since you became an eye sore to my live report. Mr. Bong Go and I were on cam, but you immediately scolded him and even told him "sapakin kita".

Kahit sa rehiyon namin, hindi kami pa star, we work with humility and authority.

You have shown disrespect sa mas nakababata sa inyo. Huwag po kayong pa Star dahil kahit kilala po kayo ng karamihan, hindi niyo po nasisiguro kung gusto ka ba nila. I opened this up kasi nababastosan kami sa inaasta mo. Pilipino naman po tayo.

Yes our company compete against each other, but we are still Filipinos and we should respect each other sa kung anumang trabaho meron tayo. I have heard a lot of negative things about you, and now I fully witnessed a glimpse of your character.

But I thank you for the opportunity of testing our character in the midst of a live report, I was not distracted. We stood with good character and we delivered well.
Mindanaoans like my team (Melchor, JP, Allan) lighted a candle of good reportage and everybody follows.

To God be the glory..

Life And Style | Bridal Carabao: A Unique Countryside Wedding Tradition from South Upi, Maguindanao

In the heart of the Philippine countryside, a beautiful and creative wedding tradition is capturing hearts and inspiring smiles, the Bridal Carabao.

This innovation, seen in South Upi, Maguindanao, replaces the usual bridal car with something far more meaningful and culturally rooted: a decorated carabao pulling a traditional wooden cart or sled, lovingly adorned with flowers, colorful fabrics, and native materials. The bride, often dressed in traditional or modest wedding attire and rides gracefully, turning her entrance into a moment of rustic elegance and rural pride.

More than just a charming visual, the Bridal Carabao symbolizes simplicity, sustainability, and respect for local heritage. In a time where weddings often chase extravagance, this humble alternative brings focus back to community values, cultural identity, and the beauty of slow, meaningful celebrations.

It’s a celebration not just of love, but also of tradition and ingenuity, a reminder that the most touching moments don’t always come from grandeur, but from the heart of the land and the people who cherish it.

South Upi’s Bridal Carabao is not just a ride but it’s a story, a statement, and a symbol of homegrown pride.

Greece, NEW YORK, USA
— Video of a US grandmother being bullied by a busload of school kids went viral on Thursday, tugging at the heart strings of sympathetic strangers who donated more than $330,000 to send her on a trip to recover from the ordeal.

The 10-minute video of school bus monitor Karen Klein being harassed by 12- and 13-year-olds went viral shortly after it appeared on YouTube and Facebook late Tuesday.

The cell phone clip shows the 68-year-old grandmother of eight trying her best to ignore taunts such as "fat ass" and "asshole" on a middle school bus in the town of Greece, near the city of Rochester in New York state.

The students also harass the white-haired woman about her weight, her hearing aid and her hairdo. One even leans in and says he will urinate on her front door, while others make rude gestures, laugh and even poke her.

Klein did not report the abuse but the video -- captured by a student on the bus -- quickly became an Internet sensation.

With a goal of sending Klein on a vacation to recuperate from the trauma, the website indiegogo.com launched an online fundraising drive and quickly surpassed its goal of raising $5,000. By late afternoon on Thursday, it had amassed a staggering $338,650.

"God bless you, Karen!!" said one post on the site, signed Rachel. "I don't know how you handled yourself with such grace in such a horrible situation."

"It completely broke my heart, and I knew I had to contribute," says another post, signed Caroline.

Klein told television broadcaster NBC that she had been picked on before by her young charges.

"They just could be really nasty," she said. "I want the boys punished but I don't know how."

As for the outpouring of support, Klein said she was "amazed."

"I've got, I don't know, the nicest letters, emails, Facebook messages," she said. "And it's like, wow, there's a whole world out there that I didn't know. It's just really awesome."

School authorities, meanwhile, have said the four students involved in the taunting would be disciplined.

The underaged harassers, whose names and phone numbers surfaced online, were also getting a dose of unwanted attention from the public.

Greece Police Captain Steve Chatterton told AFP that one student's cell phone had 700 threatening messages.

"We are trying to get people to stop because it really serves no purpose," the chief said, adding it was no different from the bullying on the bus.
