Former President Rodrigo Duterte visited the wake of veteran journalist Antonio M. Ajero on Wednesday evening, July 20.
The former President condoled with the family of the late journalist.
Mr.vAntonio M. Ajero passed away on Sunday morning, July 17, 2022.
He was the publisher and editor-in-chief (EIC) of Edge Davao and Chairman of the Board of Edge Davao Review Publishing, Inc. and Zion Accuprint Publishing Inc.
He also served as publisher and EIC of SunStar Davao from 1995 to 2002 and as its publisher from 2002 until his retirement in 2008.
The 20th Davao City Council is lobbying that the late veteran journalist be bestowed the posthumous Datu Bago Award for being a pillar in community service in the field of print journalism.
