82ND ARAW NG DABAW

The 82nd Araw ng Dabaw celebration officially kicked off at the Rizal Park, Friday evening.
Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte noted that the celebration centers on the hardwork, sacrifices, discipline, and success of every Dabawenyo.

She expressed her gratitude to the contribution of Davao City’s traffic enforcers, garbage collectors, street sweepers, teachers, policemen, firemen, and soldiers.

A hardworking mother serving the people of Davao City.

She also recognized Dabawenyos who segregate their garbage and dispose it properly, the honest taxi drivers who return items left in their cabs, the responsible establishment owners who abide by the liqour ban, the Dabawenyos who use pedestrian lanes when crossing the streets and abide by the speed limit and the drunk driving policies.


Meanwhile, The Mutya ng Davao 2019 candidates was presented last  February 20, 2019 at Abreeza Activity Center, Abreeza Mall, Davao City.

From 80 applicants to 29 official candidates, now we have the 15 finalists to move on to the Talent Competition in SM City Davao Annex Bldg on February 26 Tuesday at 3:00 PM

The  question now is who will be the next Mutya ng Davao?
Who will shine the brightest among these ladies?

Catch the coronation at RMC Petro Gazz Arena (RMC Gym) along Lopez Jaena St. (near F. Torres St.), Davao City on March 2, 2019 Saturday at 3:00 PM with special guest singer and actor Sam Milby.


This year's celebration has a new contest presented by some organizations/productions outfit in Davao City.

There's a Ginoong Davao, Reyna Davaeña and a singing contest called Kanta BiDabawenyo.
