DAVAO CITY, Philippines
— President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the inauguration of the Citygate Mall Davao by Gaisano Grand Malls at the Buhangin District in Davao City.
The newly inaugurated establishment is the 38th mall of the Gaisano Grand Malls. It offers not only quality and affordable items for its customers, but more importantly, provides employment to the residents of Davao City.
President Duterte toured some sections of the supermarket and the department store. He also visited various food stalls where he allotted time to talk to the mall staff and sales representatives.
In his message, the President expressed his utmost gratitude to the Gaisano clan for the newly constructed shopping center in the city.
The Citygate Mall Davao is part of the PhP 1.8 billion worth of investment of the company for its mixed-use development project that includes residential and communal amenities in Buhangin District covering an area of eight (8) hectares.
