Bulawan Festival goes green..

DAVAO CITY, Davao 
— Greening  will take center stage in this year’s celebration of Bulawan Festival as  some 500,000 trees will simultaneously be planted all over the province of Compostela Valley.
Guesting in Kapihan sa PIA (Philippine Information Agency),  Compostela Valley Board Member  Augusto Blanco Jr. shared  that this year’s Bulawan Festival focuses on  environment concern  in the light of  calamities particularly landslide incidents happening in the province.

Bearing the theme, “ComVal Shines at 14, Going Green,” this year’s Bulawan Festival tasks the municipal governments to identify an area where residents can take part in the simultaneously tree-planting activity that will take place on March 6 as part of the week-long celebration that will run from  March 3 to March 8 read more..
